The Way for Bitpie to EOS Ecology : Concentration Leads to Profession

As the world’s leading multi-chain wallet, Bitpie Wallet is the earliest supporter and participant of EOS Ecology. It is also the only wallet among all the wallets supporting EOS in the world that has experienced both bull and bear market. In the past 5 years, there had never been even a security issue, and hundreds of billions of digital assets have been safely kept by Bitpie Wallet for millions of users around the world. Bitpie Wallet focuses on the development and support of various functions within EOS ecology, and now can support EOS ecology with powerful functions.

2017

Bitpie made the decision to fully support EOS ecology and conducted the first formal communication with Block.one team when others were confused about the future of EOS.

In September, Bitpie Wallet firstly supported ERC-20 EOS.

In November, Bitpie Team and Block.one team, including Dan Larimer, conducted several video and teleconferences and in-depth technical and commercial discussions, reaching cooperation roadmap and identified the overall support framework within EOS ecology. The two sides had provided mutual supports and cooperation in various aspects of development.

2018

New Year and New Beginning

In January, R&D of Bitpie Wallet for EOS, which includes related supporting functions to EOS and the future security platform for wallets and applications based on EOS, was officially launched.

In February, One-click Claim function was launched, helping people who participated in the primary market of EOS claim EOS back easily.

In March, One-click Register was launched. A registering host scheme was also provided for users who did not want to register by themselves.

From then on until the eve of the launch of mainnet in early June, Bitpie had been helping users automatically monitor whether they had made a register, and constantly reminding users through various channels and methods to ensure that everyone completes the register to ensure that they can get corresponding mainnet EOS assets (1:1).

Bitpie opened C2C and digital assets trading for EOS with partners. Bitpie also launched OTC, enabling users to buy EOS easily.

In April, financial products for EOS tokens were released and soon sold out. Bitpie supported the airdrops of EOS tokens like eosDAC and EON as well as the receiving and sending of those tokens in April and May ahead of others.

Early in May, hardware wallet BitHD announced to support EOS register. While Bitpie announced support to several mainnets based on EOS.IO.

In June, EOS opened its main network. During the period, Bitpie opened the preview function of block producer’s campaign poll and provided updated news through discover page timely. Bitpie also spread knowledge of block producer DPOS consensus mechanism and recommended the campaign plans for block producers for the users in community.

After the mainnet went stable, Bitpie also launched the mainnet voting function, which was displayed in v3.3.0.

When we found some other digital wallets using unsafe randomized algorithm in the signature codes, we actively delivered a condition statement and reached out to offered help to development teams that needs help regarding to this issue to ensure the safety of assets of digital wallets users as well as to co-build a benign ecology with the digital wallet developers.

In June, Bitpie was the first to support the EOS mainnet after its launch. For Bitpiers who did EOS register in Bitpie Wallet, Bitpie Wallet would automatically help the user to create initial accounts and obtain the corresponding mainnet assets without importing and exporting private keys.

In July, the Bitpie Wallet v3.4.1 supported EOS mainnet with full functions which includes sending and receiving EOS mainnet assets, creating EOS account, sending and receiving EOS based tokens, deposit and withdrawal of EOS related assets in Pie Bank, instant trade of RAM and so on.

Bitpie Wallet received EOS tokens airdrops in the first place so the users are able to receive airdrops including ADD timely. Bitpie will list trading pairs based on EOS lately, for example, ADD/EOS(ADD and Bitpie have built strategic partnership.)

In August, hardware wallet and cold wallet, BITHD supported EOS mainnet, being the world’s first mainstream hardware wallet that supports EOS mainnet.

Bitpie Wallet will continue to support EOS ecology as always. Bitpie will not only support the relevant mainnet functions and the most comprehensive token airdrops in the first time, but also list EOS related trading pairs in the built-in and third-party trading platform, EXPIE. Bitpie will also launch trading competition and cooperate with more EOS-based projects to bring Bitpiers more rich and valuable Dapps, such as the previously launched project Token Planets during the activity period of which game props will be awarded to those who register the game.

In order to better participate in the construction of EOS community, Bitpie has recently conducted in-depth exchanges with many KOLs within EOS community on recent hot topics and future cooperation within various ecologies. Bitpie also organized related materials and delivered the main content of the communication, hoping to help people understand EOS ecology. Bitpie has already talked with the founder of HELOLOOS (Zi Chen), the founder of EOSBIXIN block producer (Guang Geng), the initiator of EOS block producer (Lao Mao) and Kaishu, the founder of EOSCannon and Canon community.
